Game Length: Two – 40 minute halves with 10 minute halftime
Referees will have all official time – can include stoppages for time wasting, goals, injuries, etc.
No overtime in group play
Warm-up on field if time permits (games need to stay on time) – May use other fields to warm up prior to field being available
Visiting Team will have first half kick-off
Visiting team will defend South end to start game and Home team on North end
** If after 60 minutes one team is winning by 8 or more then game will be complete
Team Benches: Visiting team will be on the west side and will sit on the South end (Parents will be on the North half of the field on the west side)
Home team will be on the east side and will sit on the North end (Parents will be on the South half of the field on the east side)
“Water only” on field – No other drinks, food or snacks
Substitutions: AIA Rules
Standings: 3 Point System –
3 points for a win
1 point for a tie
0 point for a loss
Tie Breaking Procedures: 1. Head to Head
2. Goals for minus Goals Against (up to 4 of each per game) (example: 4 to 4 game would mean there is a difference of 0, same scenario with a 5 – 4 game)
3. Least Goals Against (up to 3 per game)
4. Most Goals for (up to 3 per game)
5. Penalty Kicks
Semi-Finals and Finals: NO OVERTIME – Straight to PK’s if tied after regulation. Coin flip decides who shoots first. Any player on the roster may participate in the shootout, they don’t need to be on the field at end of regulation.

Scheduling Format: All teams play 3 bracket games – Semi-finals on same day as 3rd bracket game
All games will be full length – 10 minute halftime
Advancement to Semi-Finals: 2 Brackets of 4 – Top 2 teams in each bracket advance and play cross bracket for semi-finals – Winner bracket A plays 2nd place in Bracket B and vice versa
3 Brackets of 4– Winner of each bracket advances to semi-finals plus one wild card (best 2nd place finisher in any bracket)
Seeding to be determined by tie-breaking procedures and Seed 1 to play wild card and seed 2 to play seed 3.
Bracket of 5 – Each team will play 4 games and winner determined by points
Team Warm-up: Use of other fields will be permitted prior to getting on the field your team plays on
Uniforms: Home Team shall wear dark color jersey, any color short and dark sock
Visiting Team shall wear light color jersey, any color short and light sock
Balls: Home team shall be responsible for providing at least 3 game balls (1 to be placed by each goal and 1 to be in play – no ball people will be needed unless you want to provide them) – Make sure to clearly mark your team name on the soccer balls
Fans : To be seated on same side as their team

Parking will not be monitored over the weekend
Officials: All preliminary games will have 2 officials
All semi-finals and finals will have 3 officials.
WATER: Please need to bring their own water. There are hydration stations in a few areas at AAG.
Inclement Weather: Schedule may be adjusted accordingly due to inclement weather.
Locker rooms / Restrooms: There will be restrooms available but no locker rooms will be available for use by any team. Please have your team change prior to arriving.
Athletic Trainers: We will have a trainer on-site at all games. Each team needs to provide their own medical kit, pre-wrap, and tape, etc, if player ankles or other parts to be taped.
